How it works

Three steps to your first AutoCount API call.

1

Create a AutoCount connection

Sign up and the portal preselects AutoCount, then generates the matching connector installer package for your installation.

Portal · ~2 minutes

2

Install the local connector

The connector package installs the AutoCount agent and connects it through an outbound Cloudflare Tunnel for the selected accounting connection.

.NET local agent using verified AutoCount SDK business objects · Windows server with access to AutoCount SQL Server

3

Generate a key and call the API

Create an API key in the portal and call /v1/autocount endpoints from any language. Accounting request and response bodies are processed in transit without being persisted in the hosted application database or API usage logs.

Any language · REST + JSON

What AcctBridge handles

Keep the access layer consistent across accounting projects.

Brand-locked API prefix

AutoCount connections accept /v1/autocount routes and reject SQL Accounting routes, preventing accidental cross-brand calls.

Reusable local access pattern

The same onboarding, tunnel, auth, and monitoring model can be reused as your branch, company, or customer count grows.

Zero-persistence proxying

Accounting request and response bodies are processed in transit without being persisted. Account, connection, request metadata, and support records are retained separately.

FAQ

Common AutoCount API integration questions.

What is the AutoCount API in AcctBridge?

It is a secure REST API gateway for an AutoCount Accounting installation. AcctBridge handles routing, API keys, outbound tunnel access, OpenAPI docs, and diagnostics.

Does AcctBridge provide a ready-made channel sync app?

No. AcctBridge provides the API access layer. Your own software calls the documented AutoCount endpoints through the gateway.

Does AutoCount need to be exposed to the public internet?

No. The local agent connects outbound through Cloudflare Tunnel, so the accounting machine does not need inbound port forwarding, static IP, or VPN exposure.

Is AutoCount data stored in the AcctBridge cloud?

Supported invoice, debtor, payment, and other accounting request and response bodies are processed in transit between your software and the AutoCount installation without being persisted in the hosted application database or API usage logs. AcctBridge separately retains account, connection, limited request metadata, and support records needed to operate the service.

How much does the AutoCount API cost?

You can evaluate one AutoCount instance free for 30 days. Paid plans start at US$49 per month for one managed instance, with multi-instance plans available.
