About AcctBridge
AcctBridge packages the local connector, outbound tunnel, API keys, portal, diagnostics, and brand-specific REST endpoints needed to connect software to supported desktop accounting installations.
Facts at a glance
A brand-specific accounting API gateway for software that needs secure REST access to SQL Accounting or AutoCount desktop installations.
Companies, internal software teams, ISVs, system integrators, implementation partners, and local IT teams building accounting-connected workflows.
A local Windows connector establishes outbound tunnel connectivity. Calling software uses an AcctBridge API key and brand-specific REST endpoints without opening inbound firewall ports or requiring a static IP.
The current public product supports SQL Accounting and AutoCount through separate connector implementations and separate API prefixes.
Supported accounting request and response bodies are processed in transit without being persisted in the hosted application database or API usage logs. Account, connection, request, and support data are retained separately to operate the service.

Product boundary
AcctBridge is not an accounting replacement, a cross-brand accounting abstraction, or a ready-made POS, Shopify, marketplace, CRM, or ecommerce sync app. Your upstream software owns its business rules and calls the supported SQL Accounting or AutoCount API workflow.
